The Plans I Have For You Journal~A ZonderKids Review
It shouldn’t be a shocker to anyone really that we are all different. We may have similiar features on the outside, like a few of the same things (or alot of them) but we were all created differently. I think that tweens need to start thinking about their futures and what it will look like. Isn’t it awesome that God already has that plan? In the Journal, The Plans I Have For You, you are going to be working on just that! Following the book of the same name you will jot down your thoughts that go with each section. Through doodling, journaling and activities, hopefully you will hear (or start to) hear God’s voice directing you path that has been laid out for your life. It is all stated in Jerimiah 29:11 that God has done the hard part for us, making that plan of what we are supposed to do. This journal will help your plan come into better focus.
The book is laid out in an easy to follow format with a page or two for each day. “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be inpossible for you” Matthew 17:20, for example, is one of the journaling days. Included in the next prompt in the book asks you to journal about what feels impossible for your today? and Why do you think it feels so hard? and finally, Is there anything you need to pray?
Showing your tween God’s word and giving them direction and reflection is a great way to help guide them on their journey as they discover the amazing plans God has for their life.
This book may be used by itself or in conjunction with the 90 day Devotional.

The Plans I Have For You~A ZonderKids Review
One of my most favorite versus in the Bible is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” WOW! What a powerful verse in my opinion! Written by Amy Parker and Illustrated by Vanessa Brantley-Newton is this 90 day devotional that helps kids to recognize that God does have a plan for their lives. Including sections like: I’ve God Big Pans for YOU!, I don’t Do Things Small and What I Created You To DO. Each of the 90 devotions are laid out on one to two pages in the book. They include a scripture verse as well as a meaning or how this applies to us.
Spirit Muscles for example is based from Ephesians 3:16 and talks about our inner strengths. The reflection reminds is that strength isn’t always about measuring muscle size and what exactly this means. Exercising our spirit by listening to God when he asks us to help out someone or to say worry when we have done wrong. Next there is an action or a task to reflect upon or do, in this case it says “Be sure to give your inner being a work out-today and everyday.
Targeted for 8-12 year olds this book is a great first devotional book. It is also a great book to help a child recognizing that God does have a plan buy using examples of his truths, promises and plans of others thru the bible verses and explanations that show how these apply to their lives.

Little Love Letters From God Bible Stories~A ZonderKids Review
Little love Letters from God-Bible Stories is a lift the flap book written by Glenys Nellist and illustreated bu Spohie Allsopp. This is the second book that I have read in this series. I LOVE the concept here! This book is written and illustrated with 8 bible stories, on sturdy cardboard pages. Each story has a cute name such as The Very Smelly Belly for the story of Jonah. Also on each page you will find the scripture verse and God's wonderful words to you. What is this you ask? It is a sentence telling the reader something that God has said or promised us, “Do not be afraid. I am with you”, for example. Along with your bible story, wonderful words and colorful illustrations you have a letter from God. This is my favorite part! I think it is because first of all it is the lift the flap part so there is a surprise on each page, and second the messages are what God would really say! There is a place to write your child’s name if you would like or just insert it when you read that is up to you.
"Dear_________Just like I carried Noah, I will carry you too! With All My Love, God." is one of the examples that is under the flap. Showing an example with the promise. In my opinion children are never too young to start hearing about God, his great plan for their life or of his amazing, unconditional love for them! A great book for any special toddler in your life!
From the back of the book, I had so much fun making the world! But do you know the very best thing I made? It was you!
What child doesn’t love to receive mail? In this heartwarming lift the flap book, children can open and read their own personal mail from God as they experience some of the best loved stories of the Bible. As each captivating story unfolds, children will eagerly await the opportunity to open the envelope and read God’s message of love written especially for them.

The Beginner’s Bible: Super Heroes of the Bible Sticker and Activity Book~A ZonderKids review
Growing up we watched as Spiderman, Superman, Wonderwoman and the like would conquer the evil of the episode. Being well into my adults years I can still scroll thru my local chanel television and catch a kids show that has the same storyline. Watching the news you see heroes all the time doing kind and sometimes dangerous acts to combat evil and protect others. In this 16 page sticker and activity book, Super Heroes of the Bible, your child is introduced to just that, super heroes. Whether it is Joseph, Daniel, Jonah or David this book introduces your child to those special people in the Bible who listened to God and conquered the tasks that were laid before them.
Training up our children in the way that God wants can be challenging at times. This book provides examples of faithful people who listened and followed God’s plan for them. With over 50 reusable stickers, word finds, mazes and coloring pages this book will surely entertain while introducing your child to the world’s first super heroes!
